Description:

In this missions-oriented meditation, we will explore what Jesus meant when He cried, "I am the light of the world". This meditation was delivered on a morning when a team of young missionaries gave their testimonies about a recent Mission trip to Appalachia in Eastern Kentucky. You can listen to those testimonies by... clicking here We will develop the analogy of a lighthouse, standing on a rocky shore marking the way to safe harbor against a dark and tumultuous sea. Jesus in this emphatic "I Am" statement, establishes that He is that Lighthouse, the light is the very light of God, and the passage He marks is the safe harbor of heaven.
